Chikako Yamashiro - "On Others’ Pain, When Touched"

Yamashiro, who concluded that what is completely lacking in the usual inheritance of war experience from those who talk about their war experience and those who listen is the experience of “pain”, raised a new question of “whether it is possible to inherit war experience through one’s body” as an extension of verbal communication. What must have she felt when Yamashiro was touched by a 102 year old woman during her production?
